Eagle 1 Bucketless Wash - Opinions

Another option:

I've found that Poorboys Spray & Wipe makes a great bucketless wash. we had some light showers recently that dirtied my car and S&W did a great job making it look like it had been washed.

Well I decided to try this out since it's free after rebate from Advance Auto. But since you need a bucket to wash your mitt anyways , I just did it after my regular wash to see how it would do. Only did half of the car. 2 sprays on a MF and I had plenty of soapy mix for half the car, seems fairly slick had to really hold on to the MF. Rinsed with hose and looks pretty good, still not convienced it will replace my two bucket method. Seems like there could be an alternative use for this product. :nixweiss

I tried it this past week while in Florida at a training seminar. Since I didn't have access to a hose I used it at the coin-op. This is where this product will really find a niche. I did the soap and rinse and while the car was still wet I sprayed it down one panel at a time with EO BFCW and washed using the sheepskin washmit that I had bought at the same time. The key here is to use it sparingly as too much will leave a gooey mess. It seems to be very concentrated so it should last a good long time. It does produce a good amount of suds and seems to lubricate well.

It was nice being able to use the coin-op without having to drive away with the nasty residue that you can never remove unless you use the dreaded coin-op swirl inducing brush. It certainly won't replace my normal wash routine but, it does give me other options such as the coin-op which I never really used before.

I give EO Bucket Free Car Wash :xyxthumbs

hmmm.... i'm thinking about buying some of this, so when i clean my rims/wheels i can spray the soap onto it when it's wet, use a tire brush and agitate/clean them. 4 or 5 sprays should do one wheel with no problem i'm assuming.

It is very concentrated, I would start with 1 or 2 sprays and work from there.

thanks for the advice, i wouldn't want to waste more then i can use. not to mention.... there is a mail-in rebate (up to $5.99), so basically it's free! :xyxthumbs

I tried it the other day on my 86 Mustang SVO and was very impressed with it's performance. My only concern is being sure to rinse the wash mitt frequently while washing to get any dirt out of the mitt. It's one less thing to get out of the basement and you don't have to worry about the right ratios etc.

I'm not sure yet if it will replace my regular car soap but it's great for quick washes.

I received this for free from Eagle One.

I will not use it based on it's intended use. In essence, your're creating the soapsy sudsing action on your car by rubbing a wet soapless mitt on it. This is not, IMHO, an Autopian wash product. It may be a bit harsh on LSP's.

But it made for an excellent wheel cleaner. I feel this gel-like soap is fairly strong. I used it on soiled wheels that had been previously sealed and it worked wonders, effectively cleaning them without stripping the sealant. Plus it is highly concentrated so only a couple or three squirts per wheel agitated with a wet wheel brush. It cleans better than my traditional soap mixture for wheels.

I found my new, mild wheel cleaner. A PERFECT use for this product. Stronger than traditional car wash soaps, yet gentler than wheel cleaners that strip your sealant.

Eagle One makes terrific products IMHO. I love their A2Z wheel cleaner, their tire swips and their WET car wash. Good value for the money.

I did not know they had a bucketless wash.

off topic - I've had trouble with A2Z staining driveways.

i might add... the bucket-less car wash is perfect for the wheel wells as well. just used it today as a matter of fact, and getting it on clearance is even better! :p
