Any tips/advises please??
Legacy99 said:What are you applying it over? DWG can be applied over or under just about anything, however prep the paint well to get maxmium results. Good Luck and post some pictures.
Legacy99 said:[quote name='pampos']i already have applied 2 coats of UPGP.I am going to apply 2 coats of DWG,2 coats of Danase Sealant And finish it with 1 or 2 coats of Mothers Reflection Top Coat.
i don't know if that's a good idea at all but i will give a try.
the only thing that i am worrying about is that today it was a rainy day but it rains dust with the water :shocked:shocked and i am afraid not to swirl my soft Honda paint during washing
Why are you using Danase Sealant when UPGP is already a sealant? Don't know if Mother's will help. I guess you can try it out and see for yourself. Wait for a nice day, I know your excited about doing the last steps, but rain and humidity don't play well with sealants or anything else for that matter.

In fact that is what I just did. I have the car machine prepped. Coat of DWG. Layer of NXT 2.0 -- Then today Quick Detailed , and then put on the 'outer' layer of DWG.
This is my first real experiment with it. I love it!-- It didn't look incredibly impressive before the Sealant, but this latest coat over it looks like my car just had a half inch of clearcoat put on it. Or my car has been dipped in laminate. (I can see where people see the 'plasticy' look) -- But quite frankly it looks just like the name. A Wet Glaze. It looks like a glaze on top of a donut. Very very nice. Watch your eyes in the sun though, it will make your car reflect the light rediculously bright.

it is not recommended to use a sealant above a glaze??

Using a sealant above a glaze is fine but I think Legacy is suggesting you may be doing a little over kill using two sealants.
How long has UPGP been on your paint? If it has been a while, the Danase Wet Glaze will add to the looks quite a bit and you can seal the Danase Wet Glaze with either sealant of your choice.

the last thing you should do is apply so many LSP's/glazes
if it was me and I had two coats of PGP I would add some DWG then top it with one coat of any of the lsp's you have
then i a few months when you want a fresh look or need to polish out swirls then try a different combo
remeber ANY time you touch the car you can add swirls
