Dust cleaning problems

What's the best way to get the dust off after it's been on there for a while. I'm eventually going to clay it and that'll probably work, but it's stuck in some small areas that are hard to get to.

*clayed and I had to scrub on the windows to get it off. I don't know how I"m going to get it out of the door jambs where it's caked in. Any advice is greatly appreciated*

What kind of dust are you talking about? Are you talking about rail dust or just general garage dust or industrial fallout?
 
Nah washing didn't do it. The stuff was stuck on pretty hard-- I had to scratch it off the glass. Then I tried some IPA; it worked amazingly. Some alcohol on a gauze pad took the stuff off in 2 seconds. It's still a bi*** getting it out from behind the door handle, but it worked very well.
 
I would think that a good wash would do it as well. We had this issue with someone using SSR2.5 (and way too much of it) next to my car. It sat for a few weeks before we noticed. However, the SSR is water soluble and thus a good soaking got it off. I think the foam gun would be a good tool for working on this as well, if you have one.

If the alcohol worked, just realize that it also took off your wax/sealant and thus you should reapply.
