Anybody use this model? I've heard horror stories about Durrmaid in the past but this is a "new and improved" machine. Need something small for mobile so I figured this or the Aztec.

Feedback?

Thanks!

I had a Durrmaid Super 1600 for about a year and it worked great for me until I sold it (because I wasn't detailing too often). I have an Aztec now which worked great until I broke the hose. I've never had any issues with either machine. Since I'll be detailing much more frequently I plan on ordering the hose/upholstery tool soon. These small extractors are all I need.

I've just heard so many mixed reviews about Durrmaid that i'm not sure if I should go with the Aztec or the new smart 1700. Either way, did you find that the smaller machines are enough to go through at least 1 car?

Yep, it can definitely go through one car. If its a bad van or suv you might have to empty the recovery tank once, but we have the big extractors here too and if I was doing a single car I'd grab one of these small extractors. They get the carpets less wet too so drying time is faster. You can make your money back pretty quickly if you can offer hot water extractor service.

Thank you sir. Now I just have to decide between Aztec or Durrmaid lol
