Duragloss/Zaino/Optimum - which one ?

I just posted in another thread about how difficult 105 is to clean from my wax applicators. I think 105 is a great choice, I have used it for years and year and really love it. DG spray wax is really awesome as well for a spray wax.

how long would these sealants lasts on average?

Blackfire Wet Diamond

Duragloss 105 / 111

Zaino Z-2 / Z-5

Optimum Opti-Seal

If I want a sealant that lasts long and looks decent, which one should I get?

thanks
Using DG 501 for cleaning, then DG 601 pre-polish (not removed) then DG 105 on a white Volvo XC70, beading lasted almost a year in SoCal.

The Duragloss Aquawax is one of my favorite products...so easy to use and lasts. DG 101+105 is pretty long lasting, I also prefer the slickness and shine DG 105 gives over the Zaino.

My yearly detail is coming up and im definatly going with my Duragloss set up. Its just nice knowing your car has something on it to protect the paint for atleast 3-4 months...

A pre-polish is a must. Prep is the key to a good finish. Duragloss makes a pre-cleaner #652. There are alot of pre-cleaners or polishes out there that would work well.

And I ordered OOS...Just thought that I want something universal, also suitable for wheels. And OOS dont need buffing, which in case of wheels is not alway easy...

Okay so I ordered Duragloss 111,105, 652

Im a little confused? So is Duragloss 111, 105 is what a polish or a wax or what is it exactly. I know it says its a polish so does that mean I need to apply a wax before I apply it or after I apply it?

I know I apply DG 652 to clean the paint before I apply DG 111, or 105. But do I apply a wax before or after the DG 111. What is the difference between the 111 and 105?

I have marring and swirls. (Black Car) G35 which has a VERY soft Clear coat so anything induce swirls in it. So will the 652 take it our or fill them or reduce them?

Im just a little confused on the process I should do when these arrive. (Coming from Autogeek)

652 first then 111 or 105, no wax needed. 111 and 105 are sealants. If you want 111 and 105 to last longer , then use also 601 before the sealant. For a black car I would use 105. In any case just follow the instructions.

You're gonna love 105 and 111. They are both easy to use, durable, look great and don't stain trim. 105 is the newer offering from Duragloss but I actually prefer 111. It's a tad bit easier to use IMO and I like the look a little better. Both are great. Enjoy!

I wasn't impressed with 111 on navy blue metallic. Many claim that 105 is much better on darks. If using 111 I'd top with AW.

yup I got both because 105 is for dark cars and 111 for lighter cars. So i decided to get both. Cant wait till they come

Does the pre polish hide or remove some swirls or does the polish 105 fill or hide any?

You won't get any hiding with those, in fact it might show off deeper swirls. For OTC swirl hiding, NXT or TW Platinum (if you can find it) work OK.

so then Should I apply NXT before or after these polishes?

Make sure to let 105 or 111 cure at least 12 hours before topping with anything, including a second coat.
