oh i know, believe me i know! I was just frustrated because I called a napa about 10 miles away and they said they had it. So the girlfriend and I drive out there and they didnt have it. Needless to say it was frustrating. I would not have bothered if the 15% off made it slightly more reasonable to pick up online, but I do conceed that at a 4.95 flate rate that is a good deal
 
Midway wants these prices for shipping of 4 items....better off going to the duragloss site....

Yes I guess for heavier weights it's not a good deal at all. Also note they are situated in Dallas, Texas. I should see how fast DG can ship from within NC!

I think you missed AL's joke...he only paid $4.95 shipping and showed what we WOULD have paid had we paid what other sites charge us for shipping that much weight/product.



My .02 is that I would appreciate a 15% discount...

I'll chime in to say that with a discount I'd order another whole kit off the DG website for my Dad. Normally I like to support the B&M stores who carry quality products but realistically I'm not going to drive all over town again to get 601, 101, 105, 901, and AW (no two stores carry all of these and there is only one that carries the 601 - and I just bought the last one!!).



I considered switching to NXT products because they are available everywhere but with a discount on DG products online I'd definitely stick with them.
 
I think any promo's would be listed on the "promotions" page of the DG website. Right now it's for some mf towels. I remember a little while ago they had a deal on the bucket o' stuff. Maybe just keep checking back, or even e-mail DG and suggest what sort of promo you are looking for and maybe they'll consider it for the next one. :nixweiss
 
There are no discount codes for DG..TigerMike and myself both tried to get one...they were sorta thinking on it but it never happened....but the 4.95 shipping helps if your ordering a lot of items and gallons.....

I know that my local Carquest has the stuff in stock and if they don't, they will order it so that you have it the next day.
 
I just want to know if anyone used the lx-15 and did the code worked for them. This is why I am asking because I used that code and it did not work.
 
How about we email DG and mention the great reviews about their products on this forum and sign off as an autopian member ? maybe we can convince them of a promo code.

Tigermike and my self called to get a discount for the forums....I think the reason no discount evolved is they have other online vendors selling it also...and if DG gave a discount it would take away from the online vendors....since DG ships for 4.95..I would rather have the cheap shipping than a discount...if you buy in gallons the shipping works out better.....try getting a order like 105...601....501..`101.....1 gallon of AW...901...FC&S...and the Marine detailer shipped from any one for 4.95.....

Or you can order from Autogeek, pay slightly less than DG's MSRP, and get free shipping using the "AGO" code for orders over $75. I bought all my gallon bottles from them. You can also get Carquest to order the product from their warehouse for you. Their prices are also below MSRP and better than AG's, but you have no idea how fresh their products are.
 
I haven't ordered from their warehouse since I was able to find what I wanted in a few different stores I visited, but from talking to the guys they didn't imply that there was any kind of shipping charge to ship it to the store. Since they get deliveries from the warehouse all the time I don't see why they should charge a shipping fee unless you had it sent to your house.
