DuraGloss Promotional Code

I think the Lexus code is expired...as it was done several years ago, it appeared.

I have contacted DuraGloss to see if they would be interested in some sort of promotional deal for forum members. I'll let ya'll know how it goes....

Thanks, Mike. Let us know what you hear. Lexus was getting 15%----FYI

I used another code (for 10% off) but can no longer find it. In any event, it too was rejected. So, I placed my order anyway and then wrote them an email. I told them I had a code but the checkout would not show the discount. They wrote back saying they would honor the code and my credit card was indeed charged 10% less. Try calling them or email and see what happens. The worst that can happen is that you are back where you started from.

What kind of promotion would you guys realistically prefer? If we could strike up a 10%-15% off kinda thing, would that appeal to many members here? Or, what else would be good ideas? Again I have to stress being realistic with the ideas, in order to make things happen.

some one on Detail City used the lexus code just the other week and they honored it....but you have to call in and use the code....thats what was told to me anyways...

try calling in and use the code..see if they honor it...LX-15...another code was 10-15...that was a 10% code..the lexus is 15%...but call and try it..

Mike----good question...I would be in favor of straight 15% off discount for Autopia forum members that will work from the website as well as call-in orders.

I think 10% discount would be very fair. Remember their prices are quite a bit lower than boutique products. 105 is 16oz for $10

That would be very nice, Mike...

Duragloss is already a good value, and a discount would make it hard to beat in the value dept.!

OTOH, the #111 is $8.89 for 8 OZ. which puts it at nearly $18 for a 16 oz bottle---slightly higher in price than the Poorboys PWC @ $15 and EX @$16. I'm not trying to quibble, here but if Lexus forum was getting 15% off, why not Autopia? :wavey

The lexus code was from 2002...and the owner and chemist Dr. William Bailey was a big lexus fan ..lol...he had a few from what I heard ...but as said..some one on DC ordered last week and got the Lexus code discount...call and try...

on the price comparision...duragloss will outlast ex or ex-p no problem..so you are paying for a more durable product...that just does not get any easier to use

yes..10% would be fine...

also those of you buy from Napa and are AAA members..I believe they give you 5% or 10% off ..I am member and forget what the discount is...I just tell them AAA member discount..

at least here in Massachusetts they give a discount..

Look, it is like anything else - you have to negotiate. I think a 10 or 15% discount is great. However, why not ask for 20%? Give them some numbers and tell them that we here at Autopia already have done more advertisements for their products than their marketers have ever done. Invite them to search our forum and let them read for themselves what has been said. Ask them if their orders have not gone up quite a bit in the last 30 days or so. They have to concide that because no doubt the orders have been up lately. If they balk at 20% we can negotiate downwards a bit (this will be for web orders only of course). We have nothing to loose.

i agree 15% because some us have to order it direct no local stores by me carry it so we may order more to have in stock....plus were a fourm so theyll get alot of business...or if they still dont want that, how about once every other month 15%off and inbetween months 10% off....or if we individualy place order that toal up to 100 after that all are order will be 15off of course this is calling and maybe before $50 total order 5% after 50 10% again just a thought...again this may not be simple....thanks Mike :hifive:
