Duragloss Plastic Polish

Does anyone use this? I was thinking of getting a bottle of Megs PlastX to try until I saw this. Any opinions?

I have Duragloss 101 105 951 and the leather cleaner....i like them all. Im buying in to the duragloss stuff more and more, but i bet both will be good products.

Hello,

I found this not as good on oxidized headlamps as Mothers. PlastX is pretty good but on some plastic dial covers it leaves a little hazing. I dident get this with Mothers nor the Duragloss.

I have used the DG plasic polish for minor plastic polishing. It will add clarity to slightly dull plastics and improve gloss/shine, but it will not likely tackle moderate to severe plastic problems. I've only used it by hand though...

fyi (picked up a circular), carquest is having a fall sale (thru oct.31st) on the plastic polish ($5.99) and on the rain repel ($4.99)...

Hi Ern, I've used PlastX on my plastic headlamp. Not aggressive enough to remove some light oxidation. I ended up using ScratchX to remove the oxidation and protect it with a coat of PlastX. All done by hand.

I've haven't got the chance to try the DG Plastic Polish yet. Do give us a feedback if u happened to tried it out. Thks Ern. :)

This is my experience as well. PlastX is an aggressive polish compared to Mothers. PlastX is good for correcting on headlights but you should follow up with a finishing polish (like Mothers) and this is especially true on sensitive surfaces where optical clarity is important (instrument cluster lenses). Also, PlastX needs to be worked so it is completely broken down. I think Meg's other plastic polish (#10) is probably the milder type too.
