Duragloss is no more on Amazon or Advance Auto?

As many of you know I'm a huge fan of the Duragloss line, especially their rinseless wash, 105 and their all time greatest Aquawax.

I noticed Amazon is no longer carrying their products when I went to reorder some 932. Looking around it seems more other retailers dropped them as well. They haven't been active in social media for years. I hope this isn't the end....

Dan, Did you check on Ebay???

The DG website is indeed up and running. But the prices are pretty much Zaino prices now. I pinged them on FB and haven't heard back. I'll try to call them soon.

I called, they are indeed still up and running, I mentioned that it would be nice if they restock Amazon, hopefully they will consider it!

When I've ordered direct I've always had good experiences with Duragloss, I think they used to have $5 flat rate shipping, looks like it's $10 now. When they sold at Amazon was it discounted from the Duragloss website? FWIW the DG stuff seems to be on sale at AutoForge, although that could just be their regular pricing.

Yeah, that's my issue, the 932 was around $35 a gallon from Amazon or Advance Auto. At $70 a gallon shipped, I'm buying something else probably....

Well I got a call back from Betsy who said she talked to the owners and said they're going to work on restocking some things on Amazon. I'm excited!

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't get that they had jacked the price way up on their rinseless. I see Autogeek has the Wolfgang Uber for $50 and free shipping at $75, and IIRC the dilution is better on that. It seems to me the Uber is similar product to the DG rinseless, but it's been a long time since I used the DG.

EDIT: I see while I was typing this you posted what Betsy told you--don't you think it's still going to be $67 for 932 if they put it back on Amazon?

I might have to check out the Uber, but I've used a few rinseless wash and what stands out about the DG is that stuff just doesn't stick to it, the next time I wash, if its with 932 or traditional, the paint feels crazy slick and even stuff like tar just washes away with a light swipe. Honestly, it performs like I've dreamed a coating would perform like (but doesn't!). The effect doesn't last forever obviously, but if you stay on top of things, its a fantastic product. I use it as a spray wax too. Also its crazy blingy, which I like, and Accumulator would probably hate!

Anyway, the I'm hoping we're back to somewhat normal prices on Amazon. Like AW for about $15 and the "polishes" in a simlar price range. I'm honestly not trying to get stuff at rock bottom prices (well not that much), its just about the convenience of keeping stuff in Jeff Bezo's detailing cabinet not mine. I like knowing I can order and have it the next day, and not pay for shipping.

It's just that now that you've brought it up I remember the rinseless gallon being about $35-40 at the DG site...so if it's now $67 it feels to me like that's going to be the Amazon price as well. I always liked the DG rinseless, except for the pink floaties, it's just I had so many other products...and now that I used some of them up I went crazy and got a whole bunch of new ones.

And no argument from me about the convenience of Amazon.

I've been pretty good about not buying a ton of new stuff, but I recently caved on the TW Graphene liquid wax, and got some more One and Done. Also picked up the Cerakote Pro coating last fall, getting ready to do a whole car with that stuff now that my mini tests went pretty well.

I love buying and trying new stuff, but I bought an older house with a lot more yard, and wow has that taken over my time. I'm starting to do some research on re-finishing my lower level floors..... and this is crazy... my wife doesn't want a super glossy floor...

Dan- Yeah, my FK, and lately the GG Ceramic stuff, are as brightly reflective as I can stand. Everywhere I look these days I see vehicles that are just so shiny that I think...[EDIT!]..well, that look isn't for me.

Heh heh, yeah#2, some houses can, uhm...eat your life before you know it.
