I'm not sure about the durogloss. I'm pretty new to the boards here but I see a trend. Seems like most people on here run to the local autozone/wlamart/wherever and grab off the shelf products and go with that. Why don't people use professinal products on here more often? Stuff you can only get from a supplier and not on any shelf off any store. Durogloss, Megs, Mothers etc etc etc. are all just stuff off the shelf. Step up to a true professional line by calling your local rep and get set up with good high end stuff and you'd be amazed at the quality of your details skyrocketing. And most of the time even though the products come from a much higher quality line the price difference is very minimal. That and you get options of getting more quanities like gallon and 5 gallon sizes should you get hardcore and have alot of business.
Well I certainly don't go to those places and refuse to use mothers or meg's and any other OTC line except Duragloss
Menzerna is a professional and a boutique line as are Optimum, Pinnacle, Carlack, Dinitrol, Prima and Einszett plus others.
The reason I do not buy products from any Australian or US bulk manufacturer/supplier is that the bulk products are still the same old outdated technology and don't provide the results I want and are harsh on your skin and the car.
The big US bulk brands and the local Aussie ones are not good enough and not enviro friendly enough.
Outdated abrasives, polishes with fillers and wax, one step cut and polishes which I hate with a passion and so much more.
Not many bulk products are PH 7
They contain sodiums, acid, alcohol, ammonia and maybe worse stuff than that, which I refuse to use because of those ingredients
They may be cheap but the impact to the environment and us humans is nasty.
Who says that the better OTC lines won't get better and eclipse some of the bulk or pro/boutique stuff.
These new generation pro and boutique lines are available in gallons as well as small bottles and Einszett in one litre to one thousand litres. The big stuff if you have lots of money or become a distributor.
Prima may be boutique to some but it's definately pro.
