Duragloss 971 Waterless Wash and Wax Review

For the longest time I have been using Duragloss products. There are so many good things to say about this product line and I can honestly say that I have yet to try a DG product that disappointed me. When you get right down to it the products are reasonably priced, work great, and in most cases can be purchased OTC. So when I saw them release a new waterless wash and wax I was pretty excited to give it a try. I tend to use waterless washes frequently on my garage queens especially when removing and putting the car covers on and off. My "go-to"'s are Ultima, Megs D155, and recently Wolfgang Uber.

So on a recent order I decided to pick up a bottle of Duragloss Waterless Wash and Wax (DGWWW). I decided to try it yesterday on my black 2003 Nissan 350z. The car wasn't very dirty but did have some mild dust on it from the car cover that I didn't feel confident removing with a QD.

I believe that it can be purchased in gallon sizes but did not see it available yet.

Directions

1. Spray on one panel at a time
2. Wipe with a MF towel. Duragloss recommends using one towel to apply and a second to buff.

My Thoughts and Application

1. Scent-hard to describe the scent however if you love the smell of Aquawax like I do then you will love DGWWW. They both smell identical.
2. I applied with a large MF towel and did one panel at a time. I did not use a second micro fiber to buff but just opted to flip the towel instead.
I did notice that as I continued around the car that my towel did start to get saturated so I probably could have used a second towel by the time I was done with the car.
3.Results-cleaned well, no streaking, and left a great gloss.

Conclusion

Duragloss Waterless Wash and Wax is a clear winner for me. I got no streaking at all and the cleaning ability was great. Granted my car was not super dirty but it was just at the level where I did not feel confident wiping down a black car with a QD. DGWWW fit the bill perfectly. For a waterless wash product that is reasonably priced that I can probably pick up locally in gallon sizes I see this product as a real winner. The other OTC waterless wash that I can be purchased locally is Mothers and I found DGWWW slightly easier to use. In sum, another great product from Duragloss.
