Duragloss 501 or 105

I thought I had seen someone post that they liked DG 501 better than 105 on paint.   501 is marketed for marine use.

501 is marketed for marine use but many folks, like me, have been using it for years on their cars.  It absolutely will not harm paint.  It's a much better cleaner, IMO, than 105 (which I find to have nearly no cleaning ability)  but I often layer the 501 with 105 because I think 105 leaves a better appearance.  Of course, I just about always top the 105 with 845, so....At any rate I highly recommend 501.

105 looks better and lasts longer up to a year if mixed with 601. The killer sealant combo in my opinion is prepping with squeaky clean which cleans even better than 501 and following with a 105/601 mixture. 4 parts 105, 1 part 601....or even skip the 105/601 and go with their new coating which btw is great.
