DuraGloss 111

Yesterday I decided to Un-winter my truck a little. I don't have a PC yet so I washed with dawn in the foam gun to get off any old LSP (NXT2.0) so there wasn't much left. I clayed and washed again. I decided to try out some duragloss products after reading alot about them on here. I couldn't find 105 so I went with The polish and cleaner 101, Megs ultimate quick detailer wipe down then applied 111. It looks awesome but I have a question. I got the 8 oz bottles of DG and they say will polish and protect 2 full size vehicles. ???? I thought this stuff was supposed to act like zaino so I put it on extremely thin. My truck is a full size F350 and All I used was maybe an 1/8th of the bottle? Was I correct to apply it this thin.?

Thin coats is the best way to apply DG111. I used to do two thin coats just ensure proper coverage.

I also use Zaino and found that thin coats buff off easier and then I add a second coat.

Thats what I thought. Just wondering why DG would want you to use 4 oz of this stuff for one application. barely used 1 on an F350

I'm sure it's not to sell more product. If the bottle said 4ozs per application, it is based on an average size car not a monster F350. Appears you used to little. Why not give it another heavier coat?

Ive used 111 quite a bit, no need to use more then is necessary. 111 doesnt go as far as 105, but as long as you detect its presence when applying, thats really all you need.

If you need pure sealing, 111 is nice. It has little to no cleaning ability though. So in that regards, if you need just a topper, 111 is nice.
