Duragloss 101 and 105 tips

I will be using Duragloss 101 and 105 this weekend for the first time. Does anyone have any tips on applying or removing?
 
101 and 105 are both very easy products to use, and both products remove very easily.



I like to apply 101 with a blue pad (propel), and 105 with a green pad (LC 4"). I can always get the product on much thinner with the PC.



This is a great combo, 101 is a great AIO to use before 105.

Most products can be applied in the sun, the real concern is the temperature of the paint. I would not try it if the paint is too hot.
 
The 101 is a better cleaner than AIO and also has micro abrasive to burnish the paint to a nice gloss...



105 is very mild in the cleaner aspect...actually using 101 and 105 has a different look than just using 105 alone...do not not ask my why..as I have no answer...but the look is much better with the both...seem to give a much deeper look...it is sorta like using kAIO and SG ..they work together...

I was on the phone the other day with Jerry..I had a few questions regarding Marine products for auto use....and he told me the 501 marine polish was a very good cleaner and had more protection in it than the 101...had super cleaners...and very well fortified with a sealant....I am going to try this product ..he assured me it was paint safe and no wooried...just a stronger version of 101.....



I tried the Marine protectant on black plastic trim..it is awesome....more UV protectors I was told and detergent resistant...2 washes and a few rains and it looks great...going to try it on interior today...tried it on a section of tire to see what it looked like..was so so..I may need to wash then try...it was sorta dirty ...



the Marine wash is also sorta different..has a bit more cleaner in it...also a tad more polymers for gloss and a different smell....I am going to try this also for a dirty paint wash...



the Marine all claim extra sun screen UV blockers...

Apply the 101 first...wait 30 minutes and wipe off....then 105 wait 30-45 minutes and buff off....if real humid you may have to wait a bit longer..DG said it takes 30 minutes for it to haze fully...humid weather a bit longer..



do the whole car with each product..wiping off each product before using another...real easy to apply and buff off....



Now if paint is sorta warm it may be shorter time...just give a swipe test when you reach your starting point...if dry ..wipe down

AL, do you apply this products via PC or by hand?

I tried applying them via PC and I found that they don't spread very good so I used too much product, and the layer was not uniform.

I don't know if with 4" pads will be easier or even with the rotary @ 700 rpm (moving fast, no heat at all).
 
I just tried 105 this weekend myself. I applied the 601 underneath first. It all went on and off real easy by hand. I was really impressed with the gloss. Gotta be the best $9 polish/sealant I've ever used.
