Duplicolor shield?

my dad used the griots garage version on his zo6 and my uncles f355 and it seemed to work well prevented rock chips and came right off with no residue but u do have to wax again after using it
 
I've not tried it but from the looks of it someone that is taking a road trip it would be a good way to protect the car for that....at least it washes off easy....mostly I think that its a gimmick
 
Im not sure how well it would work but its worth a shot. If it rinses off without problem then i dont see why trying it would would hurt.

The only thing I am wondering is if it would wash off in the rain or do you need a presure washer to get it off?

supposedly soap and water will wash it off.... as i said the griots garage one worked pretty well and it peels off instead
 
it's 12.99 at CT it comes in clear or black. I have heard that it is okay. It's not perfect, but it might stop 1 or 2 chips
