This Mercedes E350 arrived this past week with 0 protection! Anytime a vehicle has no protection, things that seem minor like: brake dust, bug splatters, bird poop, road grime and tar, have a major affect on paint and can leave permanent damage. Needless to say, it was in need of some lovin'. Let's get started.
The process:
-CG Citrus Wash w/ 2 Bucket Method
-Megs Super Degreaser on rubber and wheel weels
-Megs APC+ on trim, rubber, and vinyl panels + bug removal
-Various Brushes on wheels
-CQuartz Merino Wool Wash Mitt for safety to reduce marring (get one if you don't have it!!!)
Finish It up:
-Rubber and trim dressed with Optimum Tire Shine
-Vinyl dressed with 303 Aerospace Vinyl Protectant
-Paint & Rims dressed with Megs. Synthetic Sealant 2.0
I think that's all, but I'm sure I'm missing something here. Anyhow, on to the pics!
