dual action pnuematic sander

i have one and it works well, just make sure you adjust it so it does not make 5000 rpm. The only problem with these are that you dont know what speed your going at, it will take some time for you to figure it out and become really comfortable with it

thank you for the reply my friend owns one and i was just wondering if i could get away with using it instead of a PC

but i am just going to go ahead and cough the money up for a PC

They 'fit' your hand more then a rgular PC but as topnotch suggests there is a learning curve, I prefer to see a number that says speed 4 or whatever as opposed to, well that looks / sounds about the right speed

I would def get the PC, it is ideal for the beginner and get you through 90% of your detailing. I would though go to a junk yard and get an older body panal and give it a try. The pneumatic with the higher speed can create more heat and yield better surface correction but remember to practice.

ehh im not beginner though ;) im just born again :) its been a while since ive been into the detailing but im gonna get back into it because my paint is suffering lol and i can make some money on the side so why not

yea im goin to hit lowes up today to buy a PC 7336 hopefully

the website it doesnt matter what area code i put in they dont have the 7424 or the 7336 so i dunno we'll see

thank you for the replies
