drying with waffle weave

I have the water magnet and I have found that if you actually soak the WM in water then ring the water out then dry...Oddly enough it works for me.

I learned from the guys here on Autopia to use Woolite for WW and MF towels. Woolite really brought my WW drying towels back to life. Before using Woolite they did not absorb well after a few washes. Now they are like new again.

What were you using before to wash them?

I have checked out a number of "cheap" MFs in Target, WM, KM, BB&B, and so on. I just have not been impressed. Several leave light scratching on CDs and none feel like I think they need to. The towels I received from Chemical Guys were also of this grade.

My first MFs were from Adam's. I think that my problem(?) is that my standard is set a bit too high. I have since returned to Adam's for all of my MF toweling needs. I am SURE that there are plenty of other brands that are just as nice or nicer, but I do not see the need to take any more risks like I did with the CG towels. I have never had a single issue with the Adam's towels. They meet and exceed my needs every time.

IMO

I checked these out on their site, and the edge binding does not look very safe. Is the binding satin?

I use the Adam's,poorboy's and the CMA ones as meantioned previously and the all work great .I always wash with woolite and Oxi-clean and they always perform as they should.

Plus I use the blower to remove most of the water first .

I bought a pair of these on sale.

Big Blue III Drying Towel

They're noticeably softer out of the package than any of the off the shelf brands that I found locally.

They seem to work very well. Washed them once before using, and they really soak up the water for me. I can dry my whole car ('95 Camry) with one towel without ever having to wring it out.

For $18, they better work well :D

I didn't pay $18, I got the two pack, so they were $14 each. Still not cheap, I know, but somebody highly recommended them to me, and I needed some ASAP, so I decided to try them.

Ya i started using a waffle weave to dry and noticed that it spreads the water.

Just ring it out often and try to blot dry, it seems to work better
