I used a blade for 2 years before I discovered all this detailing stuff, and now under the Brinkman, my old SS yellow 1969 MG is COVERED in light straight scratches in the exact directions I used to use the blade....:grrr ...and I mean covered on the flat panels, and that was after thorough washing.
This week will see me spending hours with my new UDM to get rid of them all, so now I have the SOFTEST and biggest MF towels possible and use Megs LT before anything touches the car, and my water filter comes next week to try and avoid the need to dry at all, at least in winter. :goodjob
