OK i think this is a stupid question BUT i think i should ask anyway.

i have been using my PC on various things latly practicing.

well my question is, after the product breaks down (its a paste) and it becomes dry...the pad will most likely be dry correct?

i usually slow my pc down to 4 when this happens. Well my question is won't it mar/scractch the paint if the pad is dry?

could i spray a bit of water and keep polishing or what?

If the product is dry or nearly transparent, you need to wipe it off and apply fresh product. From the Meguiars video on BetterCarCare.com... "Always buff wet".

I usually mist with ISA/water when my product is drying it gives a boost to the polish in that it can break down even more with the result that (IP) acts like FP. I can work the polish for a long time with this method, and the results are startling.
