Looks interesting...

I love how he opens the door into the machine :P

Yeah, that was grand. I wonder if there is any abrasive effect of the solid particles coming out? Even something as soft as baking soda is abrasive when blasted.

The antithesis of the steamer! Love it, especially if it works as well as it looks like it does.

Don't even want to begin imagining how much that costs....

These machines are designed for mold abatement. They are terrible for cleaning! It's just like a sandblaster! Its purpose is to remove mold from wood and plaster without damaging the materials the mold is on. The whole area has to be lined with plastic so when its blown off it falls down on the plastic and it wrapped up and taken off. Also the dry ice has to be fine as so when it's sprayed it evaporates as it falls. It needs to be used in a WELL ventilated area as the dry ice removes the oxygen in the air! Interiors would have to be done with all the doors open with air blowing through. It really needs to be done with a forced air mask.

I agree! When I first saw the video it immediately reminded me of dry ice blasting used to remove paint on a car.

That does look interesting, however, aside from asking the question of does it save time, is it cost effective to use? How much are the pellets compared to regular cleaning agents?

Amazing. And you all thought an electric buffer was dangerous in the hands of a novice.... :waxing:

Hi there.

Anyone else tried this? 3k pounds doesn't sound too bad for the machine. It looks like detailing interiors and door jambs and engines can finally be even fun.
