Dry Ice & door dings

That looks like the Ding King's big brother. The thing with PDR by gluing tabs to the dent and then pulling them out is that they all work on the same principle. I've never understood why my Ding King was $20 bucks and I have the same sucess rate that guys with $300 dent pullers seem to have. Maybe one of those fancy ones are better at a more diverse number of dings, but if you've got the type that a $20 tool will remove then I'd just go with the $20 tool. No sense in using a canon to kill a mosquito, ya know?
 
After hearing about the "dry ice" method all my life, I finally tried it. Spent hours in the hot driveway with a small cooler full of dry ice and my two CRV's. I would have gotten much better results had the cooler been full of beer. I tried every dent and ding on both cars and not one showed any difference what so ever. One guy told me after the fact that you had to be able to get behind the panel to tap the dent outward. If I could have done that, I wouldn't have needed to try the dry ice. I'm calling the whole dry ice thing BS and a waste of time. I'd have to have someone actually show me the process before I'd ever give it another thought.
 
According to local news TV report the $20 Ding King doesn't work either but I guess everyone's MMV
 
I didn't have any problems with it. They should try the professional version and see if they can get that to work. The fact that they couldn't operate the Ding King doesn't mean that it doesn't work. It just means that they don't know how to use it.
 
This was the Billy Mays Ding King, I assume simple instructions? You had good results with it? What kind of ding did you work on?
