Driveway options? Concrete, Paved, or Brick?

Hmmm That looks great!

I need to make a trip down there :)

Brad nailed it for me. I'm in the midwest as well and I know many people who have brick paver driveways and have no issues at all. Make sure they are installed by someone who knows what they are doing.

Also, it seems to make sense that you can replace damaged sections fairly easily with pavers and you can contain the fix right to where it needs to be. You can do this with concrete as well, but if you get stamped, colored concrete how do you replace just one section? Will the color match exactly the same? Can you stamp the exact same pattern? I think you'd have to replace a fairly large section to match the pattern, and you might never get a perfect color match. Granted you won't get EXACTLY the same paver colors either, but they are typicaly laid with slight random variations in color anyway, and after a winter or so of aging the new pavers would probably blend in very well with the old.

We put a grated drain across the driveway in front of the garage to handle possible water problems in the driveway and to make it easy to rinse out the garage with a hose and not wash out any trash into the driveway.
