Driven Auto Detail: 2002 Honda S2000

This job has an interesting story behind it. A guy I know that does mobile bumper repair told me about a guy opening up a detail shop about 10 minutes west of where I live. A few weeks later I just happened to be in the area so I figured I'd drive by this place to check it out. After finding it, I decided to stop so I could talk to the person running the shop. I wasn't sure how he'd react to a competitor coming into his shop. I personally just wanted to meet another detailer as there aren't a ton of them around. Long story short, I ended up talking to the owner for 3 hours. Thankfully he was just finishing up a job and it was the end of the day for him. Anyway, while I was sitting in his office he got a phone call from a guy that found his phone number in the Yellow Pages. After figuring out that this shop was 45 minutes away from his house, he decided that it wouldn't work for him to him to bring the car to the shop. So what does the shop owner do? He tells the guy, "Hold on a second. I've got one of my mobile guys sitting here with me. I'll let you talk to him." The shop owner proceeds to hand me his cell phone, leave his own office, and shut the door behind him. After talking to the customer for a few minutes, I landed a deal to detail his car. I was blown away that this shop owner would do something that nice for a competitor. He turned out to be a really great guy. I thanked him many times and told him I'd take care of him for taking care of me like that. He didn't want anything from me. He was just glad I could help the guy out. Even though we're competitors, it's nice having a positive relationship with a fellow detailer. Ok, on to the job.

Vehicle: 2002 Honda S2000

Color: Silver

Service: Full Detail

Additional info: This car is a garage queen. Out of a 4 car garage, this car gets 2 full spots to itself. The car was recently driven to NC and back so it had a fair amount of bugs guts and tar. However, since it's not a daily driver the paint was in very good condition. Even with my Briankman light, I could only find very minimal swirls.
