Drill polish pads

I am looking to get something smaller to contrate on smaller scratches etc. I have a pc with 6" pads but need to know if these are a effective alternative.

I would highly suggest picking up a 4" backing plate and pads for the PC (BP is actually a hair smaller, maybe 3.75" or so). The spot buffs pads will retain the orbital action. The only problem with those drill based sets is that they use a rotary action (it is quite possible to screw up in a BIG way with them, unlike with the 4" PC combo), and that an 18v drill will not have the power that a PC or proper rotary will.



To my knowledge, nothing cordless out there has the power necessary to really take out scratches. Trust me, if they could make a cordless Cyclo, I'd be the first guy in line to buy one.
