Well I just found this place recently so I figured I would let you know what I use and how I like it.


I Tried this dri-wash stuff about 4-5 months ago before that i used meguires, some one told me about this dri-wash and showed me there car they used it on and was impressesed so i decided to go look for some for my self after a little searching for it i found it at some website. Its a little pricey but well worth the price it took me about 30 mins to completely do my car, while it used to take me 3-4 hrs! The thing I like the most is it is all in one step so no having to wash, dry then wax it. once again I give this product 2 thimbs up! Anyone else here ever use this product
 
I've used it. Lousy product in my opinion. The only people who have ever posted positive reviews are in the Dri-Wash MLLM Network and looking to boost thier sales of the over-priced stuff.
 
I'm going to do some reading up and do your methods if this is as bad as you all agree my car will look really great after doing some of the steps you guys reccomend thanks guys
 
Why would you want to put something that looks like toothpaste on you car?
Why would you want to wash your car with out water?
I wouldn't put that JUNK on mah mailbox........
 
I dont know much about it, but it cannot be any easier than Spay and Wipe and a MF towel. And the results with the S&W are incredible.

But, here we have a member that doesn't seem to be selling it, is using it, and has had good luck with it.
Seems like it might be a good chance to get some first hand information about the product.

At one time, I would have totally ignored any waterless or low water product, but Poorboy's Spray & Wipe has changed my opinion on waterless washes and QEW has made a believer out of me concerning low water use products. They both seem to work quite well.

Maybe the Dri Wash would be worth more research. It seems like there is more dislike for their marketing methods than for the product itself.
Maybe Wolfguy can give us some information on his results. Maybe even try a few tests for comparison.

I agree with Charles. I don't use DWG either but there's nothing wrong with posting one's thoughts/results with a particular product as long as they aren't trying to sell it or spam anyone. Everyone is also entitled to their thoughts on any product. That's just my opinion.
 
correct me if I am wrong, but dri- wash, claims to .....wash a dirty vehicle, polish, and protect all in step, no water. would you want to seal the dirt and dust to your finish, not me, sorry. Then again its JMO

I don't mean to infer that anyone jumped on Wolfguy because they didn't.

I just thought it might be a good chance to learn something about the product from someone that is using it and isn't selling it.

Agreed, but a couple of years ago I wouldn't have believed I could wash my car with no damage using just a gallon of QEW solution. Nor would I have believed I could also wash that car by squirting some Spray & Wipe on it and wiping it off with a towel.

I'm not promoting Dri-Wash in any way, just curious.

I did try Dri-wash, it does what it says it will do. It will clean, polish, and protect a vehicle in one easy step -- take it to a junk yard and test it on a faded hood--you will be amazed. It is a product that comes with an outstanding marketing plan and is easy to sell. It's also not recommended for use on an extremely dirty vehicle. For the claims on the bottle and truth in advertising I would give it a 98 out of 100. For ease of use, a 35. For cost effictiveness I would give it a 3.

For me, it just wasn't worth all the hype. I could get the same results using something like Coats Sunny Wax for 1/4 the cost. I might add that except for the color, these two products seem identical.

Because it does do wonders on keeping glazed porcelain easy to clean.
 
The reason why i tried it with all of the water restrcitions when I was in nevada, and like Dr. Detail pointed out it did a great job however for $40.00 for a quart of it is pretty damn expensive, and like he also mentioned a little bit of road dust it will remove with no problem if my car gets dirty i will wash it with soap and water. Like I said im just getting into it so i will soon be trying all kinds of products after doing some more reading around here

If you have been happy with Dri-Wash,wait till you try Poorboy's Spray & Wipe. It is not a protectant, but it does a great job of cleaning a vehicle. It replaces washing quite well when for any reason you can't or don't want to bucket wash. At $30 a gallon it is economical to use, too.
A good cleaner/polish after the S & W and you will be good to go. There are so many choices for a wax/sealant that it will be mind boggling. Don't get carried away on buying products until you have done some research. It is pretty easy to get caught up in this hobby and end up with a lot more stuff than you need. Keep it simple and keep it fun.

Ok I tried the poorboys spray and wipe it worked real well, however I need to buy a wax other than meguires stuff as the shine is less than with this dri wash guard stuff. I've been reading up here and am probably order some stuff from premiumautocare
 
What wax were you using? Make sure to use polish to prep the paint before applying a wax, which might have been the reason you got bad results.
 
well it wasnt real bad but not enough shine for me anywayso im gonna do some big time reading tonight and order tomorrow
