I have seen a car done with the clear part of the process(Mercedes S500). Having seen the car prior there was a noticeable improvement but still indications something was there. Durability I don't know.
Much of the process/results would be dependent on not pulling out too much paint when you wipe the "blobs".
We used a similar process with reducer to wipe but had hardeners in our clear. The results were good but still not perfect. Hardness of the factory clear also matters.
Remember this is NOT meant for single stage paints. The reducers will eat the surrounding edge and paint in my experience.
I'm planning on trying it out though it seems more cost effective. My process requires going to the paint shop and having it mixed. One thing to remember is certain colors have a minimum mix ratio (ie. quart or pint) to have the correct flake,hue, etc. Something mixed in less quantity may not match exactly. The cost of a pint or quart can far exceed the cost of this system.
