Door Seals

Wow very interesting topic we have going here. I would never have even thought of using White Lithium grease on the door seals. Sounds like a royal PITA to apply and seems to me as though it would attract a lot of unwanted dirt and dust but i am sure if the auto manufactures say it is good then it must be. I have just been using good olé Meg's #40 Rubber and Vinyl Cleaner Conditioner on my seals and they still look new.

I own a convertible so caring for my rubber seals is extremely important to me. All the guys on my owner's forum swear by Shin-Etsu grease from Honda. It's a little bit of a PITA, but if you let it set for a while and then wipe off thoroughly it's fairly benign.

Exactly why I stopped using BMW Gummi-Pfledge. It was a PITA and messy. It was a thick vaseline type product. I prefer the water based milky white type products like 303.
The 303 gives your rubber uv protection also.very easy to apply I might add also

Yep, apply with a small foam paint brush. I do this to all door seals, trunk seal, seals under the hood, and sunroof seal.

Ayns-tsett Goommee Pflay-geh (1Z Gummipflege) is an excellent choice. You may try FK #108 as well, it is also outstanding.

My first post on these boards :)

I am interested to know about #108, is it useful for all interior/exterior trim and tires?

How durable is it?

It has above average durability. You can use it almost everything, including coated leather. Factory matte finish, dark, very handsome.

sounds great .. how often do you apply it to -

tires,
exterior trim,
interior

i'm in Canada, will probably have to adjust a bit for climate here, but looking for general idea how often to use

In rougher climates monthly, otherwise in 6-8 weeks. On tires it may last shorter, but it is tire- and weather condition-dependent.
