Door Jambs?

Mine really don't get dirty, but every now and then I like to go over them with Spray and Gloss. It helps get the dust out after waxing or water spots out after washing. Heck I use S&G everywhere I can think of. LOL

if there clean i just use some cheapo cleaner wax or whatever i dont use much. and then just use a bad mf or cotton towels

Well, after a winter of dirt, sand, salt and other crap, I got a chance to "thoroughly" clean the door jambs on our vehicles. On the 4Runner, the back door is actually part of the rear wheel well so to speak. So, the dirt and crap was really in there! Anyhow, my process went like this:

Spray the jams with a light mist of water (our hose has a concentrated fine mist setting) to remove the loose dirt.

Then, spray on a 10:1 dilution of APC+.

Next, take one of my boar's hair brushes and lightly clean the area.

Rinse off with the light mist of water.

Then spray the area with a 50/50 mix of S & W and S & G and wipe dry with a WW towel............ Presto....... good as new! :bigups

I'll be keeping them pretty clean through the rest of the deailing season and will add a light coat of EX-P to protect them and keep them "spiffy"! :D

I do pretty much the same procedure as BOSS 429. I also, like to hit them up with either QD+, NXT or ________ (you fill in the blank)! I like my black door jambs to shine and have depth just like the exterior!

lol. I was just seeing how far I could go with just using abbreviations.

IIRC - If I recall correctly

QD - Quick Detailer

MF - Microfiber

YMMV - Your Mileage May Vary
