Door Handles...

I just bought some Forever Black to do the handles on a '94 Mercedes S320. It hasn't arrived yet but is there anything I should know before applying this product and should I be taking the handle off to do to it or just tape it off? Thx. Rob

I use Forever Black and here's what I do:
Use AP Cleaner on the plastic and use a nylon brush to clean it thoroughly. Sometimes this step alone brings back the black and nothing else needs to be done. IF the plastic is faded, then apply the Forever Black. No need to tape, just carry a rag to wipe off the paint. It's an easy applicator, don't worry.
