I know there has been many opinions on 3M SMR and Meguiars DA Polish. But, what I need to know is are they both about the same in abrasiveness? I plan on using it with a PC with Meguiars red foam pad to take out harsh swirl marks on a dark green car. Will this be too abrasive to use or just right? I plan on following it up with Meguiars Swirl free polish.

That should be perfect. Certainly not too abrasive, unless the clear coat is in really awful shape.

Dual Action = Finesse It II but breaks down better from what I've heard.

BSP Swirl-Free Polish - 3M SMR in abrasiveness. I've used both of these with good results but you will get great results with DA from what <span class='bbc_underline'>I've heard.
