Dog hauler / sporty daily driver?

Yes, on paper the FX looked ideal, I liked the aggressive look, V8, all sounded good. However, as my 10 year old son pointed out, "I don't think the dogs will fit back there Dad." I was pretty surprised. Also, I thought the quality of the materials wasn't up to the Audi level. It was noisy, but in my mind, not sporty, just a constant drummmmmmming. Maybe I'm just getting old?

Yep, on paper, the Allroad looks good as a dog hauler. I would look to get a manual, as I hear they can be pretty fun with a couple enhancements and a stock manual.

Gotta get back to see the Colts.

Heh heh, maybe *you're* getting old? I'm the guy driving a 200hp minivan all the time  One of these days the dogs are gonna get themselves a nice, souped-up Suburban when I can't stand it any more ;) But silly me, I keep buying sunny-day-only cars that the dogs don't fit in :o
