I have been fighting with dog hair for a while. I have a 220Lb mastiff and he sheds like crazy and he is with me 80% of the time.
After reading this I purchased a pumice stone from walmart and it worked ok but it was white and would streak my black carpet. I then ordered the Furzoff stone and I can say enough about it. What it doesn't pick up you can scrape into a loose pile and hit it with a shop vac. Best thing I have used on dog hair to date by far.
FYI this is the source of the hair (mostly the dog some from the wife)
