I tried searching with no luck. My question is about some touch-up paint I purchased for my 1999 Sentra. The paint was bought at the same time I bought the car (late '99), so obviously it's about three years old. I am going to start repairing some rock chips and after looking at the touch-up paint last night I am wondering if touch-up paint can "expire". The consistency of the paint is very thick and it seems to dry quickly, so that putting it on a toothpick and letting it run-off is not really possible. Any thoughts? I would doubt that a dealer would discard old paint touch up bottles and buy new ones if they didn't have to. Would I just be buying more old paint if I bought more at a dealer? Thanks.
