I am applying SMR 2.0 to my car currently and wondered if this almost none abrassive polish is filling in my swirls or buffing them out? I am applying this with my PC.

Thanks,

Randy

It will remove light swirls and scratches and fill anything more. If you have anything more than very light swirls, go with either Swirl Free #82 or DACP #83.

Scott,

Thanks for filling me in... ( little detailer humor LOL anyways ) I started with #82 DACP and a Meguairs burdgandy cutting pad. Next I worked up to a Mequiars polishing pad and Swirl Free #82, and I am still working on it ( taking a break ). After the DACP lots little cobwebs instead of the big ones. The #82 is making them finner and almost gone.

Oh btw when I said SMR I was using it as a generic term for #82. Does that change your answer?

Thanks,

Randy

ScottWax - I mixed up the product names. What I meant to ask was will " Meguiars #82 fill swirls or remove them" For some reason I had a mental picture of the SMR 2.0 bottle and associated that with what I was using. Maybee I need to take a break and eat while detailing LOL. The question still stands though.

Thanks,

Randy :wavey

If #9 will remove light swirls and scratches, it stands to reason that since #82 is a bit more aggressive, it will also remove light paint problems.
