Does Menzerna IP get stuck in pits?

I was buffing out my friend's Corvette with the PC, cutting pad, and Menzerna Intensive Polish. After wiping off the residue, I noticed tiny white spots in the paint. It looked like these spots were coming from tiny pits in the paint. I don't know what caused these pits, but oh well. Anyway, the thing that struck me was that the pits looked very white, as opposed to just an aberation in the reflection. I had expected that IP would have rounded out the edges of the pits well enough that they wouldn't have that white look. I went over that section again with Medallion Paint Cleaner, water, SSR1, and 3M IHG, and the spots are still there.

I'm asking around myself. Friend used IP and got these tiny pits your talking about. VERY Small. Just saw them. Also has these on her new car. Wierd. I'm posting hoping to get some good answers. We'll see.

I'd say they were always there but now that you've polished, the residue filled them and made them visible.

Did you use it in direct sun light? I think i've seen what your talking about, but only when i use it in direct sun light and with the pc.

Same thing happened to me.

I polished my car with Menzerna FPII via PC and a white CMA pad. I was trying to get some scratches out of the clear, which I did, but then ended up with the dots the size of a pin in the area where I polished.

Anyone figure out what they are and how to get rid of them? They look like defects since I do see them on other parts of the car...but very dense in the area I polished.
