does Klasse suck??.......problems??

ok guys i went out and decided to try it agian, i used a different technique then the first time and i had mcuh better results, it actully looks pretty damn good now. i think i was appling the AIO wrong the first time...first time around i applied the AIO like a wax(just spreading a thin layer over then paint and then buffing it off)...the second time around i applied it like a wax but then continued to rub it/scrub it with my MF untill it was almost gone then buffed it off with my MF. the second way has given me great results and i could see the light oxidation being removed. so my question is......is that the right way to apply Klasse or is there another way?(besides a PC) Thanks- Ja

I'm assuming you're still doing this on that black Civic?

Yes that is the "right" way if the surface needs rejuvenation - you just use it like a polish.

You know, you never did answer my question as to what condition this Civic was in... that would have really helped me help you, but..... :nixweiss

the civics condition was "fair" it looked good without any major swirls or anything, but after i did half the car with AIO i could see that the car was slightly oxidized, because the areas that were done with AIO were alot blacker than the ares that werent, i could actually see a difference in the color of the paint. as i said....its my mothers car and she rarely waxes it and only washes it about once a month either by hand or public car wash. Thanks- Ja

You'd know if your car was oxidized because whatever kind of pad you were using to apply the Klasse with would be black. The towels you buffed it off with would be black too. It happes to my PC pads everytime. It all comes out in the wash though.

it was black, my MF applicator pad was all black and i had some black spots on my MF towels that i used to buff it off, most of it came off with warm tap water. my other question is.....whats the best way to wash my MFs?, and should i wash my polyfoam applicator pad that i use to apply the Souveran?? Thanks- Ja

I was them all together in one load. My MF towels, BBT, wax pads, all of em. I throw them all in and wash them and dry them together. I first did it as an experiment and since nothing bad happened I kept doing it. :) Just don't dry them with any dryer sheets. That will cause streaking problems on your MFs. They are sure nice and fluffy though. lol

Make sure that you don't throw in anything else in that wash. The MF towels can be ruined if you wash them with regular towels and such. The nap gets all natty and filled in.

thanks everyone for all your replies. youve all really helped quiet some of the questions that have been bugging me as i begin my journey to becoming a "true autopian" lol Thanks- Ja:-)
