Does Collinite #845 layer?

Does the Collinite #845 Insulator Wax layer up with multiple coats? Or will the next coat kind of remove the first? I put 2 coats on the H2 yesterday and can't really tell if it layered or just got better coverage.

Heh heh, few Qs will provoke more :argue than "does x layer?"



It's very doubtful that you "layered" the 845. If you want to work with this, I'd try reapplying it in a week or so, consciously trying to *not* disturb the existing wax when doing so (no hard rubbing, etc.). You might try the "spit-shine" method, where some water is used to compromise the solvent-action of the new application.

I bet it did! There's certainly nothing *wrong* with a double-application. Makes it less likely that you missed some spot, and might have something to do with how nice it turned out.
