Does anyone use Zaino Z-CS Clear Seal anymore?

That seems to be the pattern I notice. ZCS by itself is so-so. On top of Z5 Pro or Z2 Pro it helps the gloss. I may give it a try someday to see.

Save your money IMHO. I started the thread wondering if anyone still used it. If you like it thats OK. For me OS looks much better.

interesting thread guys - I have Opti Seal and UPGP and really like the results from these products. I havent seen or tried Z-CS, but have been wondering whether CS really adds that Zaino look by itself or not?

Both the others add a very nice look for soooo little effort that I have really fallen for them TBH :2thumbs: I do wonder why so many people seem to be anti these types of products. They really seem like the future of LSPs for me in so many way...

Still use it on my white truck. Love the gloss and even better with Z8 over it. But then again what isn't better with Z8 as a topper? :)

:nixweiss A chocolate sundae? A good steak shouldn't need a topper either.

:p

Oh I don't know about that. Longhorn uses seasonings and their steaks taste better (IMO) than others who don't season their steak.

I have noticed that Zcs is not as slick as Z5 or Z2, has any one else noticed this too?

Yes, I have found that out using CS on my vehicles.....

But, I always finish off either Z2p or Z5p with Z-6 or FK-425 or Z-8.....so,

After CS and Z-8, the slickness feels about the same .....

For me, the CS application is all about a little extra protection for the efforts done previously. Maintaining that with Z-6 or FK-425 adds all the slickness I need inbetween washes...

Maybe it's because ZFX isn't used:nixweiss

Well, when I applied the z5(non zfx) the surface was very SLICK, typical zaino. But when I applied Zcs the next day, all of the slickness was gone.

I must admit, I have had poor luck with CS...I just prefer to use Z2pro...and I have streaking with Z8 so I use Z6

Cut the Z8 with distilled water(try 10-15%) and that will solve the problem.

i think it was rushed to the market maybe ? very un-like zaino. it drew a lot of hype, but the results were so-so. kinda reminded me of the past "Wolfgang" hype.. short lived :-) I prefer z2 pro with z8.

I find that ZCS makes an excellent base coat to be topped with Z-2/Z-5 afterwards. It is like adding clearcoat to the paint. I think that it improves the durability of Z-2/Z-5 better underneath instead of on top. Of course I can only do that when I have the car over night to allow proper curing.

The slickness and beading definately improves after a second coat. I don't think that 1 coat is enough. I do 1 coat and then another about 3-4 hours later and then let it cure until morning. Then top with Z-2/Z-5 layers and Z-8.

I disagree. ZCS does exactly what it's supposed to. It adds gloss and protects for months. I use it all the time and it plays well with other product lines. JMO but how can ZCS come out first and all of a sudden everyone has found the key to wowo. Who is the real inovator here
