Does anyone use Zaino Z-CS Clear Seal anymore?

It was hyped when it came out...then Optimum OptiSeal followed...Opti seems to have won the battle as it performs well on all colors; lasts; and slightly darkens the paint so it has a little more classic 'nuba look.

Just search a bit; you should find several thread on each and comparisons thereof.

I still use it. It's a very clear gloss look. Looks great as a standalone on light colors but I mainly use it over ZAIO. Great 1, 2 combo. But to be honest if you want maximum durability Z2pro is still king.

I still use it until my supply runs out. A coat of ZAIO with a couple of coats of ZCS lasts from November through March even with the sand and salt we have here in the Northeast. OptiSeal seems to offer the same benifits and is less expensive so I'm moving in that directions once the ZCS is gone.

I seldom ever use it. I bought it when it first came out and was less than impressed with it. I like both OptiSeal and Ultima much better. I have heard that CS has been improved but I see no indication of that on their website

Do you consider Z2 more durable than Z-5?

I'm slowly using up my bottle of CS. It's just ok, IMO. The one step application works as advertised, but it really doesn't give any kind of look. It's just a moderately glossy, clear layer over whatever's underneath it. Honestly, I think Z-AIO looked better before I topped it with CS (even after cure time). Z8 looks much better over Z-AIO than CS.

Also, it doesn't bead all that well - somewhat large, irregular beads - though it sheets water fairly well. To the eye, durability seems lackluster, though it's likely still protecting.

I'm not buying it again.

I think they are pretty much the same as far as durability goes.

It does what it says "clear seal" in that it adds protection over what you already have on the paint and locks that look in, but I like that OS and UPGP have more noticable pop. Seems just as durable as the other two though. I traded what I had left for something else, just really wasn't for me.

I use it regularly. I have upgp/oos/zcs and I seem to use zaio/zcs/z8 by far the most often.

Its easiest to apply and the wettest looking of the three IMO. Durability likely goes to upgp.

Wowa sealants are so quick and easy, no buffing and rubbing and searching for that long lost stripe of remaining LSP.

I still use it at least twice a month after a ONR wash. I like to use it when I think I need quick "extra protection", but I rather have Z-5 on my car.

I have all three WOWA and I like UPGP best but I not really excited about any or them.

CS seems like it has turned into a base coat for Z8 - it is even market that way buy Zaino with the triplets. I have used the first version and I have the what is suppose to be the newest version (less than 2 months old) and I don't see any difference between them. I do get less streaking now but I think that is due to learning how to use them. I think Z5 is much better product and doesn't loss slickness as fast as CS.

OS came out shortly after CS...so I of course have both lol. Like others have said, CS doesn't really have a look. If I'm going to use ZAIO, I'll follow it with CS but I don't use ZAIO much anymore either (did I really pay $27 for 160oz of it? meh.) OS is my go to.

I still use it quite a bit. I really like CS a lot,but I think UPGP looks better. I haven't compared the looks of the two on the same vehicle though.

I've lost track of how many coats I've put on various vechicles, and I still have way over 1/2 a bottle of CS left. I've probably wasted some also.

It doesn't seem to help durability much, but it sure looks awesome on red over Z5 Pro and topped with Z8!

I still use it. I put a coat on after Z2, it's easy and quick, so why not?

Is Opti-Seal compatible with Z2 or Z5? Let's say I put OS over Z2, then a week later can I put Z2 on top? Will it bond with OS?

I got a brand new glass table for the patio and gave it a nice Z-CS coating before putting it to use.

After a wash you should be able to get Zaino to bond with ZFX.

I must agree. I bought it since it was pimped, like most Zaino stuff, and I have usd it about 6 times. It does nothing for me. It is worth it to take an extra 5 minutes with JW stuff and get a way better look. I still have like 85% left and almost want to throw it out......but to much $$$ to throw out.

For me, it is okay at best.

That seems to be the pattern I notice. ZCS by itself is so-so. On top of Z5 Pro or Z2 Pro it helps the gloss. I may give it a try someday to see.
