Does anyone use a Sure Shot Sprayer?

I use the three gallon compressed air sprayers from PDS. I use them for my APC and wheel cleaner. Saves time by not having to refill spray bottles and because you can spray the chemical much quicker.

I have a couple of Hudson garden sprayers I picked up from Lowes (item#: 71554 ) for like ten bucks each. One has Wheel Brightener, the other Safe Degreaser and both have been sprayin' for over a year now with no bad seals. I like having the wand because I can disperse the WB to the back of the wheel by going between the spokes. Three pumps and I can do four corners easily. Cheap as hell too.

Do you find the air last a while in them?

Thanks!

You fill them 3/4 of the way, which is a little over 2 gallons. Then you can compress them to a maximum of 120 PSI. They have a safety valve that bleeds off pressure if you over pressurize. Initially the spray is very powerful, and gradually falls off as you use the contents. You can empty the contents with one charge though. I sometimes find myself recharging a bit as the pressure drops.

I have used the "SURE SHOT SPRAYER" the metal ones that pressurise with a air compressor. I found them to be too powerful when on the fan adjustment they basically cover the whole side of the car, and when adjusted to a narrower spray came out with so much pressure it was leaving "rings" on the paint. I decided its only good for very large vehicles and in turn dont use it anymore. For the price of them in Australia they arnt worth it imo. I have rplaced it with several of the garden spray type sprayers.

Hope this helps

Chris
