does anyone use a pc to remove wax

I have a pc and several foam pads and use it to apply wax, but was wondering does anyone use it to remove wax, and if so what pads do you use?

I was thinking of putting a terry cloth cover over one of my foam pads?

People have, and some use a cotton or MF towel under the PC with a foam pad, while others use an MF bonnet over the foam pad. However, with the "less is more" technique of apply very thin coats, I can remove wax by hand much faster and easier with an MF by hand.

I use MF bonnets from time to time to remove LSPs. Sometimes I use the bonnet first and then do a follow up by hand, sometimes I do it by hand first and then "burnish" the finish with the bonnet. Unless you put the LSP on very thin you'll have to have a bunch of the bonnets as they can load up fast.

Depends on the product I am using. Sometimes I'll remove most of the residue by hand and then go over the entire car with several MF bonnets, or if it is a product such as SG, I'll remove everything with the PC.

If I am using NXT I will remove it with a M?F under the stock pad that came with the pc .. but if I am using a product that you don't apply to the whole car I do it by hand .. using a pc is a pita a panel at a time.

My exact method while using Blackfire or Platinum on dark colors.....There so rich in oils youd be there all day trying to even out the surface.....

Yeah, it was the BF/UPP on the S8 that I was referring to, and it's not even a dark color!
