With the sandpaper thing, are you saying using a true polish is a bad base for an LSP? That a sealant shouldn't bond to the surface?
Basically you proved my point, I don't want my LSP to "stick" to anything except the surface. Especially if it sticking to something that "doesn't last long".
What happens to the LSP when AIO fades?
how is AIO going to "fade" when there is an lsp on it??? AIO will BY ITS LONESOME will not last long BUT topped with something, how is going to go before the topper goes?????? honestly, where is the logic in the AIO fading before the topper fades?
and the sandpaper was a remark because you were saying that AIO isn't a good thing to have so i was saying you should scuff your paint up if you want it to stick good. it was a sarcastic comment. and i have gone to a lsp plenty of times after polishing without using AIO BUT on my car i have started using AIO again and it leaves a noticebly better surface for an LSP. it looks better, feels better, and the lsp lasts long because the aio is a polymer sealent in itself and then when you to that, the durabilty has to increase. if you have two layers of SG on your car, do you think the first layer will "fade" first because you put it on before the second layer? OF COURSE NOT, the first layer will last much longer than the second because its BELOW the second layer.
