Does a hot garage ruin detailing products?

I've finally got my garage cleaned out and some cabinets ready to store my detailing products. Question: it's not heated or air conditioned, so is the wax, polish, etc., and the clay bars, gonna be impacted by the heat?

I would guess with the North Carolina sun beating down, it gets into the mid 80's or even higher in there in the summer. Then add a hot car engine and body coming in from driving and I would imagine it would get even hotter than that.

Your thoughts? If at all possible I want to keep my stuff out there, since it is much handier than having to run inside for something.

I've always stored mine in the garage. It's constantly well over 100 and I've not had any products go south in the last three years. The only thing I've noticed is that the P21S wax has dried up a bit in its container but it still works just fine.

I don't think it would be a problem as long as you shake the items well before you use them. Some items might not like the heat, i had some mother's aliminum polish(it was almost a paste) that i had to trash because it was useless after being left in my car for several weeks(forgot that it was in the trunk).

Meg's #34 doesn't like high temps. Mine went from its usual milky-opaque pink to clear-transparent orange back when I had the previous shop. But note that it got *really* hot in there, so much so that the overhead door motors wouldn't work.
