I want to try out some new waxes and one of them is Dodo Juice. They have so many different waxes, its ridiculous. Are all these really necessary, or are they a waste of cash? What do you think?

They are all great, mostly different scents, and some like the blue velvet and purpler haze are better for dark colors than others. Supernatural is probably one of the best waxes I've ever used. Even the Hard Candy gives pretty amazing results.

Supernatural is amazing. If you could only pick one thats the one to go with. If you want a cheaper one, Banana Armour would be my next choice.

Personally most of the DoDos are very similar and im not sure there all that good. Supernatural is more of there premium products, its pretty good but in crowded market, a few years on since when it came out im not so hot on it.

Light Fantasitc looks similar to Supernatural, doesnt last as long but is probably the pick of the bunch.

I see that you can buy the Supernatural in a stick (similiar to a deodorant) to be easier to apply with a buffer. Why are their "HARD" and "SOFT" waxes? Why the two? I have some Meguiars NXT paste and Meguiars Gold Class paste; both of them are what I would consider a firm paste but I just bought some Meguiars Gold Class Carnuba PLUS and its like softened butter. Would this type of difference be the same between the DODO waxes?

Are you guys using any sealants under the Dodo waxes, if so what kind?

Why the too versions, HARD wax and SOFT wax? What's the difference, ease of application...does the hard last longer or is it just that the soft is easier to apply?

Are any of you guys that are using the DODO JUICE use a sealant prior to the wax and if so what sealant?

Hello

Hard waxes are as they say in hard paste, think old school like Megs #16. You wont overload the applicator to easily and its not really for application by bare hand (remeber that got all fadsy 2-3 years ago when DoDo was released).

The softwaxes are softer like Nattys Paste waxes. Easy to apply if using your bare hands, you can overload a foam app though.

Hardwaxes tend to be a bit more durable.

The stick Supernatural is the same idea that you see from Griots (?) that someone on here actutally made. Its just so you can apply it to a foam pad on a machine polisher with out removing wax from the container. IIRC Supernatural stick might be a different formulation.

How many of you out there are using orbitals (like a PC or GRIOTS) to apply the HARD WAXES? Are you guys using the 3 " or 6"? Obviously using the larger orbital will be more efficient but I don't think a 6" pad will fit into a wax container; therefore, you'd have to remove the hard wax completely from the container...does the wax cake remove easily from the jar? How do you remove the cake from the jar?
