I would like to tank AutopiaForums for doing the pick your own prize give away. This is the prize I received from the contest so I thought I would give it a quick review.

Products Used:

Dodo Wash Mitt
DuraGloss 901 3oz to 3 gal water

The Package Includes The Mitt and a quick message telling you about the mitt and care instructions. I figured I would post a picture of the care instructions for people interested.

I would suggest that you do clean and comb the mitt. I found straw, a throned seed of some type with about 80 little thorny, piece of a stick, and various other things. It also appeared that sand was coming out of the mitt when I was shaking it over the dark table, this could also be dry skin.. ?

This is just a picture to show the overall thickness of the mitt. I was impressed.

Here is another pic of the card nested in the hair of the mitt. It was tough to get the card to touch the hide of the mitt due to the density of the hair. Its quite thick on each side.

Just a few side notes on this mitt:

The interior of the mitt has no cloth liner or any synthetic material other then the cuff sewn onto the hide at the opening. It looks as though it will last a while with nothing to worry about tearing or wearing out.

When using the mitt I chose not to put my hand inside the mitt so I could utilize both sides of the mitt. It was a hassle to try and turn it around on your hand or use the back side of your hand. I just held it on one side and then flipped it!

I thought I knew something about washing cars a few years ago before finding the on-line detailing forums and was using natural sea sponge. I thought the microfiber wash mitt I got from Griots was the cats a$$. Well I have to say I was BLOWN away by how amazing this mitt was to wash with!!!!!

This mitt holds 10x the soap/wash at the MF mitt does. As far as the washing experience, I have to say this mitt felt like it was gliding over the paint. The mitt left both vehicles amazingly clean. When going back to my MF Griots mitt on the lower section of the car (saw Cee Dog do it!!) it was night and day on how much the MF felt like it was dragging across the paint. The Dodo mitt felt like it was floating.. !!! I expected to see some matting of the hair on this mitt but surprisingly there was little if any. If it did seem to get a little matted a quick dip in the rinse bucket and running your fingers through the hair took care of it.

I think if the mitt holds up to multiple washes with the wet and dry cycles, this is the only thing that will touch my paint in the future.

I took a look at the mitt this morning after allowing it to air dry over night and it looks like a wet dog. It will definitely need to be combed out before the next use.

Great review! Thanks for sharing your experience with the Wookie's Fist. I hear the some Star Destroyers may need detailing and Chewy now has a bald spot. Apparently the Imperials used to use Wookies dipped in Supernatural Shampoo do clean the floors of the Death Star. Seriously I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore!

You are out of control Todd....lol....but I followed what you were saying for a while...then you left me in a Galaxy Far,Far Away....

WOW that thing is fluffy. I have looks at it many times but never pulled the trigger.

It would be great if ACC decided to pick up the short hair version as well.

i have a wookie too but found that it as it picked up particles of dirt from the vehicle i had a hard time gettin em out even with the screen in the bucket..but it is the very best i've found at keeping suds, i could've washed the whole car without dipping it in the soap bucket.
