Hey Gents..New to this forum, but have been drolling around for quite some time.

I have a White 09 Benz C63..Looking to maintain it by hand for a while before letting my buddy's detail shop touch it. Which is better, the hard or soft DoDo wax? I will be applying everything by hand. Also, do I use the Lime Prime first, then the Opti Seal and 3rd the Diamond Wax?

after a good wash..

I am thinking of using these products

Optimum Opti Seal

DODO Juice - Diamond White Hard Wax

DODO Juice - Lime Prime Pre-Wax Cleanser

Thanks for the help!

if it hasnt been detailed since you purchased the vehicle I would also look into claying as well. There is no doubt some contamination on your car right now. If you are going to stick to those products you go

clay

lime prime

optiseal

diamond wax

as for hard vs soft, its all just preference imo. I hope that helps

Thanks for the heads up! I will get some clay too. I have many car washes..but I guess I will stick with Zymol for now..

I have Duragloss, Perlz, Meguiars Gold and a couple others..

What do u use when you clay as a lubricant?

couldnt you just skip the lime prime? Does it have significantly more cleaning power than poli-seal? doesnt the dodo work best right over the lime prime as well?

He's talking about Opti-Seal, not Poly-Seal. Two entirely different things.

I would personally use:

1. Lime Prime - work it well as it has very light abrasives and can really bring up a lovely finish

2. Dodo wax - either hard or soft depending on preference of use

3. Opti Seal - after the next wash once the Dodo has fully cured
