as i say, there are many ways to get the job done 8) for me, the tactility of the process of applying a paste wax by hand just reinforces my own sense of accomplishment. in my detail process, the wash and prep stages will always take longer than the protection stage. it is in these two first stages that the work is really done. then you get to inspect every inch of work you have done. note that you can feel places you might have missed or not completely finished. additionally you have to be physically closer to the paint as you go round, arms-length in fact, allowing better inspection of the entire surface.
so for me, i enjoy some toonz and a good paste wax applied directly to the paint by hand - it is preference not a disclaimer against other protection methods nor product types. currently i am also really enjoying our wet or dry applied spray sealant. i have a tree over my parking space which at this time of year has a few birds that congregate on a nightly basis to foul my car... every damn night/morning. bring it into the office and it gets pressure washed and then, without drying, a nice top up with Future Armour. drying and topping up at the same time - easy peasy for such frequent wash downs.
the Supernatural Ferro Lube is available at Autogeek now 8) - hope i am allowed to answer this, otherwise i can remove.
Ive never tried applying via hand..might need a manicure first, haha
Future Armor Sealant is some good stuff! I gave it a shot and really liked using it.
im also really liking Dodo Nano (not to thread jack but man thats one tough paste to get onto the applicator--any suggestions?)
