How would you compare the durability and shine of the DoDo product line, to items such as Collinite 476, 3m perfect it, and wolfgang fuzion? Thanks!

I would think DoDo as a beauty kind of wax. So it has nothing on Collinite.

I'm going to order the 8 wax sample kit to try them all out. You can never have enough waxes can you?:nixweiss:nixweiss

Not sure how it would be to layer 2 different waxes. I know you can do a sealant and wax.

On that note anyone have any info on Dodo's wax for light colors (white wax) hard or soft?

It looks like the White Hard wax has more durabilty than the soft, and the soft will have more depth and clarity.

wait are you saying to put a layer of hard under the soft? I would think that you would out the hard over the soft so that the paint would reach its optimum appearance.

Ya for the dodo double its soft first for the looks and the hard for durability. Durability isn't too great, i got maybe one month. Though this was the old version of the waxes. I just ordered the new versions because supposedly durability is supposed to be better...we'll see.

Someone told me soft first. But if he was wrong, please tell me. I've never used Dodo and would rather use the products right.

Here if you read the following it will clear it up for you....

The Doublewax Kit includes a hard wax for a durable base coat and a soft wax for wet-look layering.

The Dodo Juice Doublewax Kit is a two-step wax process for detailers who demand shine and longevity from carnauba wax. The kit includes a Dodo Juice Doublewax Hard Wax for the bottom layer and a Dodo Juice Doublewax Soft Wax for the top layer. Two carnauba waxes equal one glossy, slick, durable finish!

First, use Dodo Juice Doublewax Hard Wax to lay down a thin, even coat of carnauba wax. The hard wax is easy to apply sparingly and it bonds to form a hard-as-rocks protective coating.

Next apply a layer of Dodo Juice Doublewax Soft Wax on top of the existing hard wax coat. (Wait 1-24 hours before doing so.) The soft wax gives the paint the desirable wet look. This wax is also carnauba-based yet in a softer, smoother consistency. Doublewax Soft Wax gives the paint improved depth and gloss, and it adds to the protection afforded by Doublewax Hard Wax.

I have tried the White Diamond - got 2 coats on my wife's pearl white Highlander and it looks great. It's easy on and off, doesn't use much and durability seems to be on par with every other wax (I'm saying 3 months) in my location. I did notice it handled bugs on the bumper very well as all I needed was a MF towel and some QD to remove.

I have Souveran too, and I can only say that White Diamond has more shine - at least to me. I bought the mini pack of 8 and haven't tried the others yet.
