So the ad doesn`t give much, if any info on the actual car and the ad looks like something that Michael Bay put together when he wasn`t working on Transformers


Excited to see more details on this. I`m guessing it will have a little more HP than the Hellcat and AWD. Anyone here going to be getting one of these? (I`m looking at you 512detail)
 
I would buy a ticket to that movie! I wish they would have at least shown the car. Sure beats the Dodge Dart commercials.
 
my hellcat friends seem to think its gonna have an 863hp supercharged 426

either way our dealership will have a nice allocation of them at zero markup for the first round of buyers and we get first dibs on the allocation as well

Funny, I remember in the 90`s when a 300 hp V8 was a powerful car. And anything under 5.0 seconds 0-60 was quick.

Now a standard V6 can easily make 300 hp, even turbo 4`s easily hit 300+, and a V8 with less than 400 hp seems weak.

We are at the end of the gasoline horsepower wars and the big three are making it really fun to watch.

Looking forward to seeing the final numbers. I hope 512 is right and it`s north of 800 hp:)

whoops trying to quote not thank..anyways

this info came from someone who literally works on the Hellcat/demon team, just sayin

maybe they`re fibbing a lil but the 707 # for hellcats was the understatement of 2016, most hellcats dyno close to 700 at the wheel

with e85 conversion I have two buddies running 965 and 985 rwhp

I thought I read something earlier this year that stated the HEMI was on it`s way out after the 2018 season. I could be mistaken but if that were the case it would seem like a financial consideration to make a one model year engine.

Edit: Actually I just did a Google on this and there is a lot of chatter stating this but nothing that I could see that I would consider to be credible. It might just be that they are discontinuing specific displacements and something new could replace them. There was some talk that a twin turbo would be replacing them.

as a Mopar guy I gotta hope for the best at least

when I read about the Hemis demise I also read dodge was planning to go out rather large
 
Twin turbo where is that fitting lol. I don`t see an STS rear mount on an oem build.

Wonder what the hoops will be to get one of first ones.

They could make more than the 707 now with pulley changes and tuning. Could be they rolled out the hellcat seen what the actual warranty claims are and decided we could make more power people aren`t thrashing these as bad as we thought.

I can`t wait to PDI our first one when we get it. Like the cool dreary evening our first hellcat rolled of the transporter

Well if they are switching to Alpha Romeo chassis`s then they`ll have two rust out issues to address! :lmfao:lmfao

Just kidding, of course, Alpha Romeo isn`t what they used to be. I`m excited to see what the Demon will be, and the price!

Would be sad to see the HEMI go, so if that is the case I hope they are going out with a bang. I`m going to predict 4WD with over 800 hp on this one.
If they do that I believe they`ll add in a "drift" button like the Focus RS has.
